about rick byerly:
Rick Byerly trained at Pittsburgh Filmmakers in 2000 and 2001 and from 2004 on has worked with digital slr cameras and photoshop. He launched a full time commitment to fine art photography in January of 2007 and started showing in art galleries in July of 2007. He was admitted to the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh in the Fall 2007 screening as an artist member and has been a member of Silver Eye Center for Photography on Pittsburgh's South Side since 2005. He serves on the Pittsburgh Technology Council's Art Advisory Committee and will be on the AAP Board from 2008 though 2011. Coursework at Pittsburgh Filmmakers, 2000/2001. B.A. in English, Non-Fiction Writing from the University of Vermont, 1997. Additional coursework at the University of Pittsburgh, 1997 Dean's List. Graduate of Shady Side Academy, 1993.
